Grape variety: 100% Grenache Blanc

Soils:

This cuvée comes from the best plot of white Grenache on a soil of river stones and red clay located on one of the high points of the plateau of Châteauneuf-du-Pape

Harvest:

After waiting for the optimum ripeness, the grapes were harvested manually on August 30th, 2018

Vinification:

The grapes are hand picked early in the morning to keep the freshness. They are sorted and packed in a way to limit crushing. The bunches are pressed gently in a pneumatic press. The musts are selected and then sent to a stainless steel tank. After settling in the cold, the Grenaches are filled in barrels for the alcholic fermentation.

Ageing:

Maturing 8 months in barrels of 500l and 228l (100% of the total volune in barrels)

Tasting:

Pale gold crystal with green highlights. The nose is extremely rich: grapefruit and rifle stone at the beginning it evolves towards aromas of stoned fruit. In the mouth, the attack is lemon and then fat takes over and coats the taste buds. The final note has a nice length. To be drunk after 10 years of maturing at 12°C

Food pairing:

White fish, scallops, lobster , seafood.

Press:

94/100 Wine Spectator
